Achieve Boston:: Building skills to support the after-school and youth work profession

Summer Seminars

Achieve Boston is a collaborative effort to help after-school and youth workers develop their professional skills and knowledge, advance their careers, and ultimately better serve children, youth, and families. Achieve Boston offers after-school and youth workers a locally based and easy-to-access training system that:

•	Identifies the competencies—skills and knowledge—after-school and youth workers need to work effectively, and brings them together into one competency framework
•	Provides a self-assessment questionnaire and other useful tools to help you determine your level of skill and knowledge and identify competency areas to strengthen
•	Coordinates training and professional development opportunities and helps you match your needs to specific opportunities
